作为成长在快速发展中的中国大都会的一代，陈楠可能天生对自然之美有种向往。环球旅行摄影多年，陈楠手中的相机记录下的不仅是世界个个角落中自然的壮丽，还有身处于其中的人情的温暖。
成为摄影师前的陈楠，刚踏入律师行业，就认识到被行业内条条框框所束缚的生涯并不是自己的追求。向往着心灵上的自由的她，踏上了摄影的道路。通过摄影这一媒介，表达和创造着自我。
深圳，于陈楠而言，是一个可感受到它强大活力的城市。她说，一个城市有活力，就像人有强壮的心脏，砰砰跳着让人很激动。年轻又发展迅速的城市，对于青年艺术家而言也是一片尚未完全开垦的艺术沃土。在这方面，陈楠有着乐于做先锋的意识。
陈楠的摄影作品也呈现了她多方面的探索。
随着陈楠的加入，上海杜若云章画廊于深圳皇庭广场公共艺术项目「狂想曲」第二章正式展开了。延续了对中国当代艺术的关注，尤其是在深圳这个充满机遇和可能性的新兴都会，「狂想曲 | 新生代」更侧重于发掘新晋青年艺术家的潜力，是在杜若云章支持中国当代艺术发展道路上新的一步。
Living in a pulsing metropolis which materialised in little over thirty years, it’s understandable that artists in Shenzhen are drawn to spaces where nature reigns supreme. Camera in hand, photographer Nan C travelled extensively, capturing the world and the absence and presence of the humans within it.
An extension of the Shenzhen project, Rhapsody, Nascent is produced in collaboration with Merry Papery. Merry Papery opened in Shenzhen in 2014. Believing that the scope of its beauty is unlimited, Merry Papery continues to produce the highest quality paper products through the ebb and flow of digital & handmade trends.
