彭本浩 | Benhao Peng

1949年出生于湖北荆州。中国美术家协会会员，生活创作于广州、深圳。
水墨是彭本浩近年来潜心探索的语言形式。在他横跨近五十年的创作生涯中，参军时假期常在颐和园、玉泉山、香山一带游学写生，行走二十余年辗转于洪湖、洞庭湖及江汉平原一带采风写生、创作版画木刻，他的历程都与土地息息相关。其近期的水墨创作中瑰丽的色彩得益于学习油画期间的锻造，使得彭本浩的用墨形成了独特的个人风格。故乡水土风情维系他的情感与精神，因此常被作为彭本浩的创作母题，将个人情绪融入渗透到用笔中。
Throughout career which spans half a century, Peng Benhao travelled widely in China sketching scenes of nature. During his early days in the army, he would take his sketchbook around Beijing in the gardens and mountains. Later in his career he spent over two decades sketching and creating engravings at the lakes nearby Hanjiang Plains. His journey has always been closely connected to the land. As the Chinese saying goes, ‘each place nurtures its own inhabitants’. Peng carries his affection for the land onto his scenes of mountains and lakes. The bright colors which are unconventional for ink wash paintings suggest an influence from his training in oil painting, becoming quintessential of Peng’s style.
